Methadone, also known as Symoron, Dolophine, Physeptone, Amidone, Methadose, Heptadon, and many other names, is a synthetic opioid. Because it is an acyclic analog of Morphine or Heroin, Methadone acts on the same opioid receptors as these drugs, and thus has many of the same effects.

Norco

Norco is a combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. It is a semi-synthetic opoid that is sold under the following brand names: Anexsia, Co-Gesic, Hycet, Liquicet, Lorcet, Lorcet Plus, Lortab, Maxidone, Norco, Polygesic, Stagesic, Vicodin, Xodol, Zamicet, Zolvit, and Zydone.

Opana

Opana is a powerful semi-synthetic opioid analgesic also known as Oxymorphone, Numorphan, or Numorphone. Opana is typically used for the relief of moderate to severe pain, and also as a preoperative medication to alleviate apprehension, maintain anesthesia, and as an obstetric analgesic.

Percocet

Percocet contains oxycodone as well as acetaminophen, a less potent pain reliever, which boosts the narcotic effects of opiates like oxycodone.

Roxicodone

Roxicodone is an opioid analgesic containing Oxycodone hydrochloride USP. Oxycodone hydrochloride is a white, odorless crystalline powder derived from the opium alkaloid, Thebaine.

Vicodin

Vicodin contains hydrocodone as the active substance, a narcotic opiate like oxycodone.

How does Puridone work?
